A delicious Treat to make from your leftover Halloween Candy!
Alas, Halloween has come and gone. Much too fast if you ask me. But it sure likes to linger in the form of all the candy either received Trick-Or-Treating or not handed out to the kids. And as delicious as it is, I was trying to think of something to do with it rather than just eat it plain and get sick of it in two days. I mean wouldn’t you rather make it three times as bad for you?
Well in my case I don’t have my own Trick-Or-Treaters unless you count these guys:
Yeah, I dress up my poor dogs, but only on holidays I swear.
So in my case it was left over candy from passing it out to kids. And well I just thought I ought to bake it into something. And I was being a little bit lazy to be honest so rather than putting it in made from scratch cookies or some other baked good I figured I’d chop it up and throw it into store bought brownie mix I already had. And luckily the girls are coming over tomorrow for a girls night, which means I won’t be eating them all to myself
I had Reeses and Kit Kats because I love peanut butter and chocolate, but really any chocolate candy bar you love or have would work just as well, like Snickers or Milky Way. And I made a double batch of brownies to make sure they were thick and would cover the candy.
I know I said I would start adding it to all my posts, but no, I’m not giving the nutrition facts on this one. I don’t wanna know.
